Exam Preparation
Approximate exam time range from 15-45 minutes depending on requirements ordered by the insurance company
- All Nashville exam fees are free of cost to you.
- You may schedule the exam at your home, work, or your agent’s office in the Nashville area.
- Appointments available 7 days a week. 6am-6pm. Saturday and Sunday times vary.
What we will need from you to complete paramedical exams:
- Drivers license or any picture id with your name on it to verify identity
- Any medications you are currently taking
- Depending on requirements we may ask detailed medical history-PCP information, dates, results of last physical. Any medical diagnosis including dates, treatment and Dr information.

- Paramedical Exam (approximately 30 minutes)
Paramedical exam includes medical history regarding medications, physicians seen, and recent surgeries. Also paramedical, information regarding immediate family members ages and some medical diagnoses Exam also includes physical measurements.

- EKG-(Electrocardiogram) (Approximately 10 minutes)
You will be asked to lie down or recline in a seated position. Electrodes will be placed on your chest, arms, and legs. A private area is recommended because you will be asked to remove your shirt. Avoid lotions the day of exam to ensure, electrodes (stickers) will adhere properly.

- Physical Measurements (approximately 15 minutes)
Exam includes 3 blood pressure readings, pulse, and measuring height and weight.

- Blood and Urine (approximately 10 minutes)
Examiner will draw blood and collect a urine specimen to send to the lab designated by the insurance company you are applying with. Some insurance companies do require fasting for the specimen collection. Your examiner will be able to confirm if and how long you should fast prior to your appointment. Please note, fasting is not required if you are pregnant, nursing or diabetic.
